Ensure project success — step-by-step guide

Successful projects deliver products your customers love, at the quality they demand. They do this on time and on budget.

So how likely is your next project to succeed? The risk checklist we shared in our last newsletter lets you rate how well you manage risks to this success. But once you’ve identified gaps in your risk management, what do you do next?

We’ve put together a blog post that gives you a step-by-step guide to closing these gaps. It shows how to treat improving your project risk management as a project in its own right. This lets you practice the Agile techniques that underlie Agile risk management as you go.

Step-by-step guide to better project risk management

Global NGO Technology Report 2019

The Global NGO Technology Report for 2019 has been released. This biennial research project digs into how non-governmental organisations around the world use technology.

How NGOs and others can get their websites working harder

One interesting finding is that Australasians are doing better than the rest of the world when it comes to website accessibility. Downunder, 25% of NGO websites are accessible to people with disabilities, while the global average is just 18%.

That still means that three quarters of antipodean NGOs have work to do if they want to get support from everyone, regardless of any disability. If this is you, check out our blog post on the benefits of an accessible website, and how to get one.

Making waves at the Gold awards presentation

Earlier in the month we were presented with our Team Gold award by the mayor.

We were especially chuffed to have the mayor and other winners make special mention of Boost and our focus on team happiness. It’s pretty cool knowing that we stood out, even in the company of all the other amazing winners.
