Better jobs, better job interviews

Developers, have you been wondering how much better your job could be?

Why not take Boost for a test-drive and find out. Because working well together is what makes Boost great, we don’t do your standard job interview. Instead we have collaborative hiring events. These give you the chance to meet the Boost team and to show off your own teamwork skills. It’s all part of our drive to be the happiest workplace around.

What people had to say about our last test-drive event

“The most impressive interview experience I've ever had.”

“Exceptional…I felt very welcome, included and I thoroughly enjoyed the event.”

“Events like these take the edge off interviews. After a while I forgot that I was actually doing one.”

“Well done on pulling it all off so smoothly virtually!”

“Boost is awesome.”

Latest test-driver to join the team

Lun Li is our latest collaborative hiring success story.

Lun likes sussing out how to make code as effective and robust as possible. He specialised in cyber security at Vic Uni and, unlike many developers, loves debugging. “It’s a really rewarding experience when you get that code working,” he says.

The Test-drive Boost event gave him the chance to see what makes Boost tick.

“What really attracted me from the first event was the values, the way we look to have a positive impact. It makes you feel good about the work you’re doing.

“It’s been an awesome first month. I’ve been learning so much. And I really joined at the right time because of all the Christmas parties.”

The summer holiday didn’t stop him coming into Boost.

“Me and Nat started a sewing club. We came in over the break, brought in all our sewing supplies and just cracked away,” he says. “It’s great to be crafting something that’s tangible.”
